NAATI (the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters) is Australia’s official accrediting body for translators and interpreters. It authorizes translators to provide official translations for use in Australia.
But its rules only apply to translations completed in Australia. If you’re translating documents from the UAE, you do not need a NAATI-accredited translator.
For applicants translating from outside Australia, the Department of Home Affairs requires a properly certified translation completed by a professional translator. This translation must include the translator’s full name, address, phone number, and qualifications. A certified translation by a UAE MOJ-accredited translator meets that standard.

That said, requirements can vary slightly depending on the visa subclass or the office assessing your application. So confirm with the receiving authority before you submit.
